Melissa Bennett

Melissa Bennett is an account manager with mRELEVANCE. She handles public relations and social media programs for Atlanta new home builders, many of which build product targeted to active adult homebuyers. She also contributes to the mRELEVANCE blog by writing about the latest industry news and trends.

Prior to this position, Melissa had stints as a freelancer at Kleber & Associates, a marketing firm that specializes in home and commercial building products, and as an account coordinator at Scholz Communications, a public relations firm for the lifestyle and non-profit sectors.

Melissa has a passion for social media, writing and media relations. She works to enhance and build relationships with real estate and business writers with the area’s major publications, including both traditional and online.

As a graduate of the University of Georgia’s class of 2010, Melissa has an A.B.J. in public relations from the distinguished Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication and a B.A. in history from the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. She lives in Cartersville, Ga. with her fiancé and enjoys decorating their new apartment, planning their upcoming wedding, visiting museums, shopping and playing with her puppy, Genevieve.
