Learn How to Better Connect with Your Association’s Members at ALI August 16

National Association of Home Builders ALI ConferenceWill you be in Portland for the NAHB Association Leadership Institute next month? If so, make plans to attend two sessions presented by mRELEVANCE managing partners Mitch Levinson and Carol Morgan! Social Media Office Hours: Carol will present this session with Chad Davis, Social Media Manager for NAHB, on August 16 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.  This session will give attendees a better understanding of the state of social media in the home building industry and how it is becoming a bigger part of the marketing strategy for associations and their members, and what that means for marketing budgets. Social media sites commonly used by association members will be covered, along with tips on how an association can use social media to better serve its members. They’ll also cover how to approach social media advertising and will answer all of your social media questions in this interactive, open forum that will allow you to share your social media problems and solutions with others in the industry.

Go Mobile: Connecting your Members using Smart Technology: Mitch will present this session with Matt Morrow, Executive Vice President, Greater Birmingham Association Home Builders, on August 16 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., right after Carol and Chad’s presentation. This session will explain how a mobile site can better connect association members and make member communication and interaction easier than ever.  They will discuss the growth of mobile, explain the differences between a mobile site and app and explain how a mobile site can more effectively connect your members with a member directory, event registration and payment, advocacy tools, news feed, integration with built-in GPS for events like the Parade of Homes, integration with social media and more.
