Recently, an Atlanta Journal-Constitution reporter reached out to mRELEVANCE for interview access after reading our news release announcing Fortress Builders’ new homes at Brookstone Country Club. Fortress Builders currently offers new homes in three sections of the popular country club in West Cobb, making them the perfect builder to highlight in the online and print article, “Fairway views lure buyers.”
Written by H.M. Cauley, the article highlights the draw of many master-planned communities – golf courses. Currently, Fortress Builders is constructing new ranch condominium homes in Brookstone Manor, the active adult section of Brookstone County Club. In addition, Fortress Builders has homes available in The Farm at Brookstone, the final phase of the country club, as well as Links at Brookstone.
Colby Henson, managing broker with Fortress Builders, was quoted as saying, “The economy for the last several years slowed things down, but now the market is coming back. This is still a lifestyle people want. The values of their homes are protected by being in a master-planned community with amenities. You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy the pool and the amenities. And there’s nothing like having a beautiful, peaceful, manicured golf course as your backyard.”
Cauley goes on to explain that a majority of the homeowners in golf course communities don’t actually play golf. Instead, the home buyers love the privacy, views and amenities that come with living in these types of communities. This lifestyle allows the residents access to the golf course, tennis courts, swim teams and so much more. Many of these communities also offer on-site activities directors that are responsible for planning a variety of year-round events and social activities.
By highlighting the reemerging trend of growth in golf course communities, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution report provided exceptional coverage for our public relations client.
