FrontDoor Communities Scores with Amenities

-

FrontDoor Communities in the News As marketers for home builder clients all over the country, we know that amenities are often what make communities unique. Because homeowners like to use amenities such as parks, playgrounds, walking trails, pools and tennis courts when the kids are out of school and when they are vacationing, summer is the perfect time to pitch these amenity stories to reporters.

In August, client FrontDoor Communities was featured in three articles about amenities. One, published in this Atlanta Journal-Constitution article, was about one particular amenity. Location is the ultimate amenity, and consumers are even trading off the mega-amenities for it. That approach has worked well at FrontDoor’s Goulding, a community of 40 homes in the heart of Roswell, Georgia. It offers large pocket parks with spaces to gather with neighbors, but the main draw is its walkability to downtown Roswell’s popular restaurants and shops. Who doesn’t want to enjoy a cup of coffee on the front porch while reading the morning paper, and then take a leisurely walk down the street to do a little shopping or meet a girlfriend for lunch? For this article, the reporter reached out to us at the beginning of the summer looking for people to interview. After running the topic by FrontDoor and working closely with the reporter, the mRELEVANCE public relations team was able to land the story.

FrontDoor Communities’ amenity coverage did not end there! We pitched the newly opened amenities at Freeman’s Point on James Island, South Carolina. Now enhancing the waterfront lifestyle of this Charleston community is a gazebo; children’s playground and picnic area; a community pool and pavilion; waterfront greenway and trail with resting benches; expansive dock and fishing pier; boat access to a dock; and a 1,000 foot waterfront park. The pitch intrigued a reporter at The Post and Courier, and he wrote about them – twice! Check out this real estate story and this business feature with a blurb.
