mRELEVANCE was brought on board in September to promote Shoppe Artisan through social media and public relations efforts. A unique holiday gift buying experience, Shoppe Artisan Holiday Market showcases a curated collection of distinctive, handmade products chosen from independent makers, many of whom are featured on Etsy, Pinterest and Grommet. With over 120 booths, products will include handmade jewelry, soap, furniture, mugs, office items, kids’ toys, apparel and more.
Although we have only been working to promote the market a short time, we have scored pretty big. In regard to public relations, mRELEVANCE pitched local reporters working on gift guides and lifestyle stories. Through research, sending pitches and media advisories, along with news releases, and talking with reporters that were interested in the event and the artists’ products, we garnered media hits in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution‘s Deal Spotter section and Jessica Shops, the Marietta Daily Journal and Access Atlanta. One of the products being offered at Shoppe Artisan, K-Teas, also made this Gifts for Co-Workers guide in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Additionally, two more of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution‘s gift guides, one about finding the perfect gift for everyone and one about preparing to make merry (which were in the Thanksgiving paper!), featured multiple Shoppe Artisan exhibitors, including Beaded Baubles & Bourbon jewelry, Textile and Twine aprons, East Creek Candle Co.’s man candles, Brazilian Sweets and RachelMade Naturally Nourishing Lip Balms, along with information about the event.
Through Facebook advertising, Shoppe Artisan’s Facebook page has grown from 1,541 to 1,989 likes (we hope to get to 2,000 by the event!). Reach and page views have also increased immensely.
We bet you’ve already made your holiday gift list, but now is the time to check it twice! Forget ordinary mall gifts, and shop uniquely instead. For those that haven’t finished shopping and are looking for that perfect gift, Shoppe Artisan, will be hosting a one-of-a-kind shopping experience at the Cobb Galleria Centre in Atlanta on Friday, Dec. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 11. We are pleased to offer our readers discounted tickets to this holiday market. To purchase tickets, visit www.shoppeartisan.com. Make sure to use our special promo code AREF for a BOGO (buy one get one) deal! That’s two tickets for just $8!
This year, Shoppe Artisan is proud to partner with Feed My Starving Children, a local non-profit committed to feeding starving children, and Peace of Thread, an organization that empowers women who have come to the United States seeking refuge from war, persecution and poverty to make a new life for themselves and their families by making handbags and accessories with up-cycled fabrics from the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center.
For more information on Shoppe Artisan, tune into our radio interview on December 8. It airs on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio.
