Look Up: Are Ceilings Marketable?

Traton Homes ceilingWhen you do public relations for home builders, anything within the home is marketable and worthy of news coverage. This even includes ceilings. Recently, the Atlanta Journal Constitution‘s Homefinder contacted mRELEVANCE for help with a cover story. The reporter was writing an article about the trend of distinctive ceilings and wanted to interview builders.

After receiving the query, we contacted our clients that would be a good fit right away. One of our clients, Traton Homes, was able to receive great coverage. One of its photos was even on the cover page of the article, “Custom Ceilings Add Style.”

It doesn’t stop at the photo. Traton Homes’ director of design was also quoted. So, how did we know that Traton Homes was a good fit? We know its products. Traton communities, such as Montgomery Park off the Marietta Square and the Estates at Davis Ridge in East Cobb, offer coffered ceilings as options. As the article explains, home buyers want more than a plain, flat, white ceiling. They want ceilings that are architectural and interesting. Traton’s ceilings do just that.

mRELEVANCE doesn’t just pitch our clients to a reporter to pitch them. We make sure the story will be viable for our clients. We also make sure not to waste a reporter’s time by sending them sources that aren’t good fits.

By knowing our client’s products inside and out (or up in this case) and by building strong relationships with reporters, we can build successful public relations programs. If you need help with your public relations program, contact mRELEVANCE today by clicking here.
