Mitch Levinson, MIRM and managing partner of mRELEVANCE, LLC was inducted as the Chair of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Institute of Residential Marketing’s (IRM) Board of Trustees at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas in February. He served as the Vice Chair for the Institute in 2013.
Levinson has several goals that he hopes to accomplish as Chair; his main goal is to enhance the integration of IRM educational programming across NAHB’s National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC) and into NAHB as a whole.
“One of my goals is to continue to integrate our powerful content and education programs more heavily into the National Sales and Marketing Council and the National Association of Home Builders, giving members the information they need to become successful marketers of their homes and projects,” says Levinson.
Levinson’s entrance into the position of Chair coincides with recent, important changes to the Institute’s certification guidelines and strategic planning. Levinson is excited about the updates to the IRM courses and NSMC’s long range strategic plan initiatives. He states, “The forward-thinking changes that have been made will have a positive impact on the organization and its members.
Levinson is the author of “Internet Marketing: The Key to New Home Sales” published by BuilderBooks. He is a marketing expert with technical expertise in search engine optimization, website development, email marketing, social media and CRM consulting services. Levinson is managing partner of mRELEVANCE, LLC, a marketing, communication and interactive agency with offices in Chicago and Atlanta. A Multi-Million Dollar Sales Producer who earned an MBA in Computer Information Systems and eCommerce, he brings a unique perspective and experience to the field of real estate communications. Levinson combines the two interests in order to help home builders and developers gain a competitive advantage through the Internet and technology. Levinson is an active broker in Illinois and Georgia and is a member of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago (HBAGC), Home Builders Association of Northern Vermont, Greater Birmingham Associations of Home Builders, New Hampshire Home Builders Association and the Southwest Suburban Home Builders Association (SSHBA). Levinson was the 2012 and 2013 chairman of the SSHBA Sales and Marketing Council and is an Executive Board member for HBAGC. An appointed Director of the National Sales and Marketing Council, Levinson also holds the MIRM, CAPS, CGP and CSP designations from the National Association of Home Builders and REALTOR© and ePRO© from the National Association of Realtors.
