The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC) awarded Mitch Levinson, MBA, MIRM, CSP, CAPS, CGP, managing partner of mRELEVANCE, LLC, with the 2016 Bill Molster Lifetime Achievement Award at The Nationals Gala on Jan. 19 during the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas.
“I am truly honored and humbled to receive the Bill Molster Lifetime Achievement Award,” said Levinson. “What a privilege it is to be recognized by your peers for doing something that you truly love and are passionate about.”
As the former chair of the Institute of Residential Marketing’s (IRM) Board of Trustees, Mitch’s personal and professional efforts have repeatedly exceeded expectations and time after time, he has gone above and beyond the call of duty for the National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC).
“Mitch is clearly an outstanding leader, professional, mentor, teacher and colleague to so many in our industry,” said Carol Morgan, managing partner of mRELEVANCE. “He has served as a leader for so many of us in the industry for many years, leading by example, and being the type of volunteer that has always been there, willing to take on as many responsibilities as needed to enhance NSMC.”
He serves NAHB as a National Sales and Marketing Council board member, a Business Management and Information Technology board member, chair of the BMIT marketing committee Public Affairs committee member. He also spent countless hours on behalf of IRM tackling the complete overhaul of the IRM educational curriculum.
Levinson was the prior chair of the Sales and Marketing Council of the Southwest Suburban Home Builders Association. He is also an executive board member for the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago, which distinguished him as an Associate of the Year in 2012.
Levinson is a 25-year industry veteran and Internet marketing expert that specializes in search engine optimization, website development, email marketing, social media and CRM consulting services. Levinson is the author of “Internet Marketing: The Key to Increased New Home Sales” published by BuilderBooks. He has spoken at countless tradeshows, including the International Builders’ Show and the Southern Building Show, and Sales and Marketing Councils. A Multi-Million Dollar Real Estate Sales Producer who earned a master of business administration in computer information systems and ecommerce from Georgia State University, he is the president and founder of MLC FlatFee Realty and is an active broker in Illinois and Georgia. Mitch also holds the MIRM (Masters in Residential Marketing), CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist), CGP (Certified Green Professional) and CSP (Certified Sales Professional) designations from NAHB and REALTOR© and ePRO© from NAR.
The Bill Molster Award was created in 1965 as a lifetime achievement award to honor an individual who has made major contributions to further the goals of NAHB, the National Sales and Marketing Council and its Institute of Residential Marketing. During his more than 20 years with NAHB, Bill Molster developed NAHB’s marketing department and ultimately the National Sales and Marketing Council.
