mRELEVANCE and New Home Notebook announce Social Real Estate Chicago, a conference for builders, developers, marketers and job seekers in the real estate industry. This event focuses on social media and how to apply it to find your next job, as well as for marketing new homes. Social Real Estate Chicago will be held at the Abbington, located just west of I-355 in Glen Ellyn, on Tuesday, September 29, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (registration at 8:30 a.m.).
Local and national social media experts will be presenting on a variety of topics:
Mitch Levinson, MIRM and Carol Flammer, MIRM, managing partners of award-winning Internet marketing, public relations and social media firm mRELEVANCE, LLC; Rudy Bachraty with Trulia; Sara Bonert with Zillow; Kelly O'Brien with Chicago Tribune/CareerBuilder.com; Julie Wernau, job seeker, publisher of ChicagoNow.com and Nita Tuskan with New Home Notebook, among others.
The morning sessions focus on utilizing social media for brand building and will include topics such as the “Dos and Don'ts” of social media for real estate, best practices and reputation management. The afternoon sessions will focus on social media for job seekers and provide the perspective of both the job applicant and employer. The conference ends with a wrap-up presentation on tracking and measuring one's efforts in social media.
