Targeting the Right Social Media Sites

So you want to approach social media with all your guns blazing, right? Well be careful or you could get in over your head and do more harm than good. Social media is a tricky new medium; besides, as much as you want to do it all, you simply do not have the time or resources to do everything. You need to think about your goals and objectives and come up with a solid strategy for your social media campaign.

Organized by PRSA GA’s Independent Counselor’s and Nonprofit Special Interest Groups, this timely session will help attendees identify which social media outlets are best for you.

Social Media 101: Targeting the Right Social Media Channels will be held Thursday, August 20, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. mRELEVANCE’s managing partner Carol Flammer joins two other local marketing and public relations experts (Toby Bloomberg of Bloomberg Marketing and Melissa Libby of Libby & Associates) to offer insights, perspectives and experiences to help participants learn how to benefit from these new media channels. The program will present successes, common missteps to avoid, and take away tips to evaluate and select the right social media channels.
