According to a recent article in Ad Age, a survey by Ipsos Mendelsohn shows that affluent readers (those making more than $100,0000 a year) are reading even more online than ever before! The report shows that they are spending less time watching TV and that time listening to the radio only decreased slightly.
The big jump is that they are spending twice as much time online up to 22 hours from 10 hours in 2003!
Magazine publishers need not worry. . .This same group is still reading print publications with the most popular titles being Southern Living, People, National Geographic, Sports Illustrated, Time and Newsweek.
