FrontDoor’s goals for creating a new website included enhancing the user experience with an easy-to-use and fully functional, professionally-designed website; improving traffic and leads; being better optimized to show up higher in search engine results; possessing easy administration, and being mobile-friendly.
The new website vastly improves the foundation of the builder’s online footprint. The website is a central hub for all of FrontDoor’s marketing efforts, and the goal was to use the website to drive FrontDoor’s marketing message outward, while bringing prospects and leads back to the website. Overall, the website is FrontDoor’s most effective sales tool, showcasing its products and information for potential homebuyers.
The new website is effective and simple to manage. It features a fresh new web and mobile look that is more user-friendly and offers easier navigation, allowing buyers to find everything they want to know about FrontDoor’s communities in Atlanta, Georgia, Charleston, South Carolina and Naples, Florida. The design boasts oversized images of the builder’s products with clickable tabs for a photo gallery, homebuilding information, home buying tools, news and more. The site also provides a backend admin system that allows for information on the site to be easily managed and updated by the FrontDoor team.
Shortly after launching the website, the average time on site had increased by 15 percent, and 40 online leads were generated in the first five weeks after launch.
