J. Wright Building Company of Birmingham, AL was in need of a completely new website. Before working with Marketing Relevance they had a one page website with one contact form and no way to track where their leads were coming from.
They approached Marketing Relevance with a need for lead capture, SEO, content management, mobile responsiveness, and…well, basically everything that comes along with an up-to-date website.
During our discovery process we learned the wants and needs of J. Wright and compiled a plan of action. The first steps were to design the site using feedback from J. Wright and our own expertise. Multiple concepts were presented; adjustments were made and then approved.
Next, we moved into the development phase. We went to work building a new back end with our proprietary content management system (CMS), Radmin3. This back end system allows J. Wright staff to manage their own photography, content and custom forms. It possesses SEO tools that helps them optimize their pages (now that their site has layers and depth) and allows them to integrate their blog and social media channels. As we also design websites with a mobile first mind-set, the entire site was created with complete responsiveness to desktop and all mobile devices. During this development phase content was curated and optimized using SEO best practices.
The site was then populated with the optimized content, photography and interactive maps and launched with a clean, sophisticated palate of neutral tones in grays and whites. This colorway allows the photography to stand out and call attention to J. Wright’s upscale designs.
